Korean BBQ, or "gogigui," is an interactive and social dining experience that involves grilling various meats, usually thinly sliced, at the dining table using a tabletop grill. Popular cuts include bulgogi (marinated beef), galbi (marinated short ribs), and samgyeopsal (pork belly), with the option of seafood and vegetarian dishes at some restaurants. The meats may be marinated in flavorful sauces, while samgyeopsal is often served unseasoned. Accompanied by a variety of side dishes called "banchan" such as kimchi and pickled vegetables, Korean BBQ offers different textures and flavors. Diners typically wrap grilled meat in lettuce or perilla leaves with rice and condiments for a flavorful bite. Korean BBQ is a communal and engaging meal that is perfect for group gatherings and family meals.

The restaurant's ambiance and atmosphere are characterized by a slight smokiness from the grills and a lively noise level due to the presence of large groups. The only aspect that detracted from the experience was the blue LED lights, which clashed with the rest of the decor and were unappealing. However, the seating and walkways were clean, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Our waiter was particularly pleasant and attentive throughout the meal.

Hot Pot was available but we were only interested in the BBQ.

The menu featured the usual selection of meats, all of exceptional quality. We thoroughly enjoyed everything on the grill, eagerly anticipating each new dish as it was ready to eat. The crispy enoki mushrooms were outstanding, even for someone who typically dislikes mushrooms—they were so good that we kept ordering more with each visit from our waiter. To make the most of your experience at WON KOREAN BBQ, customize your own sauce for dipping your meats. I suggest mixing a small amount of the following ingredients:

seasame seed oil

soy sauce

garlic pieces

peanut sauce

cilantro & onions

Once your meats or mushrooms are cooked to perfection, dip them into your special sauce to take your taste buds on a flavorful journey.

In conclusion, I had an enjoyable experience and look forward to returning with friends and family. The only aspect I would change is the blue LED lights, as they were distracting and didn't fit with the rest of the decor. Although this isn't food-related, I would subtract 0.1 stars from my 5/5 rating due to the lights.
